The Inspiration: A Tuscan Wild Boar Meets the Coast
The journey of this specific design began thousands of miles away in Italy. While traveling, I was struck by the charm of a local icon: a wild boar proudly riding a Vespa. It was whimsical, culturally rooted, and captured the spirit of the city without feeling kitschy. It was a representation of local pride that stayed with me long after I returned home to my studio.
I realized that our shorelines needed a similar champion—a symbol that captured our unique energy and easygoing lifestyle. After hours of thought, struggling through design iterations and creative drafting, The Original Florida Gator was born. He isn't just a reptile; he’s a commuter, an adventurer, and a quintessential coastal local navigating the ocean breezes on a bicycle.
Digital Precision meets Human Touch
Like all our high-end pieces, the clock featuring The Original Florida Gator is built upon our proprietary Core Kit chassis. I approach building these clocks with a systems-level mindset, engineering a highly reliable, modular foundation that allows us to merge high-tech production with artisanal craft:
